The Wyvern Rises is a gathering for everyone who is interested in the old traditions.  Whether you are an experienced practitioner or just starting out your pagan journey, we want to make sure that there is something for everyone.

Located in beautiful Wiltshire under the shadow of the Westbury White Horse the area is steeped with history of our ancestors being close as it is to the site of the battle of Edington, where the Fyrds of Wessex lead by King Alfred defeated Guthram & the Danes invasion of the last kingdom.

We welcome families, couples & those who wander alone.  Dogs who own responsible humans are also welcome.

We have a range of optional activities planned over the weekend & you can choose what you want to attend.  The are no charges to attend the workshops & talks, but for the practical sessions, you may need to make a small contribution to material costs.

Friday will still be all about setting up the camp & getting settled in.  The gathering will be formally convened at dusk with a short ceremony.

Saturday & Sunday daytime, we are again planning a range of workshops & talks on paganism & topics of nature (Such as foraging etc). We only run a few workshops, because we want you also to have some quality time to explore the amazing countryside around us & visit the White Horse.

Saturday evening we make use of the earlier sunset in Sept & hold the main ritual at dusk & then gather round the fires to enjoy the company of the Travelling Talesman with stories & folktales from near & far.

Sunday evening will have the closing ritual & then a social evening around the fires

Monday will be our site clean up & departure day.  We all need to be off site by midday.

We are a small gathering & intentionally so.  We decided to limit attendance to about 50 spaces, so make sure you grab a ticket before they all go.
